BioI grew up in the mountain redwoods on the California coast. I now write books in a house nestled near a small lake. Blue herons nest along the shoreline and hawks soar over the water. Through the long, dark winter and the green months of spring as rain taps against the skylight, I dreams up stories and tap the keyboard. When I'm not working my books, I teach writing workshops and hike with friends and family in the beautiful Cascades.
